Abide Mentoring
Would you like to learn how to hear God’s voice, how to discern his will each and every day, how to keep in step with the Spirit? Then, abide mentoring is for you. In these weekly sessions, we learn not only information, but have the opportunity to practice hearing God’s voice. As with most things in life, we don’t get proficient at anything without practice. These weekly practice session help us stay tuned to the voice of the Spirit and abide moment-by-moment in Christ.
Youth Ministry
The youth meet every week during the school year to discuss topics relevant to youth. These usually happen at church over pizza and popcorn followed by games. In 2023, we are offering a missional week of service for ages 10-17. In the summer, we offer a week long overnight camp for Juniors (Grades 3-6), Junior Highs (Grades 7-8), and High School students. in the winter, we offer a High school and junior high overnight weekend retreat. Senior Ministry
The seniors have a lively Bible Study every week throughout the ministry year (Sept-May). They enjoy learning more about God’s Word, supporting and encouraging one another in prayer and in practical ways. In addition, we arrange outings, lunches, and activities to keep seniors healthy and happy. For more information speak to one of our team.
Children's Ministry
Every Sunday morning at 10:30 am we have junior church for children ages 4-11. During junior church your little one will sing uplifting songs, learn about God, discuss their own ideas, play games, and enjoy a dance party. All are welcome. In addition, throughout the year, we offer child-friendly activities. For instance, on the first Saturday/month we have a children’s fun day. Once a month we offer a family movie night with snacks, discussion, and games. In the summer, we are please to offer a Day Camp thanks to Canada Summer Jobs program, throughout the school year we offer baking classes, a harvest party and more. All of our children’s workers are screened, have a police check, and agree to abide by our statement of faith. Prayer Ministry
Every Tuesday at 8:00pm we have our prayer meeting which is open to all. On the last Tuesday of the month is our concert of prayer and fasting. We encourage everyone in the church to participate in the prayer meeting at least once/month. We have experienced God working miracles as individuals have been healed, relationships restored, and people set free.
